On Sunday morning Dor-Cel employees prvided service for special group of 81 Polish firemen going on a rescue mission to Nepal to help victims of earthquake. Firemen flew to Kathmandu on board of Boeing 787 chartered by LOT Polish Airlines together with 14 tons of equipment and 12 dogs trained to search people trapped in rubble. We are sure, that due to their commitment and professionalism many victims of earthquake will be saved.
On 22 September 2012 Dor-Cel provided customs and handling services for shipment of nuclear fuel from an experimental reactor. Containers were carried on the board of a chartered IL-76 Volga-Dniepr airplane. We were also responsible for coordination of actions taken by the police, fire fighters, customs officers, airport security and armed convoy who delivered the cargo to the Cargo Terminal in Warsaw. The transport went smoothly with the airport operations concluded within only about 2 hours.
A double-decker is a symbol of London and of Great Britain. Many of these vehicles are used worldwide as sightseeing buses. One double-decker already operates on the streets of Ulan Bator in Mongolia. We transported it from Felixstowe to Xingang from where it got to the destination by road. The vehicle was placed on a 40’ flat rack and adequately prepared for the journey prior to departure (fastening, battery disconnection, steam cleaning).
With the free shipment of the vase – a gift from the Polish nation – made by Porcelana Opolska, DOR-CEL made a contribution to the charity event that took place in Tokyo, Japan, on 3 November 2012 under the patronage of the Emperor’s Palace.
The “Pink Beauty” event, during which the gift’s auction took place, was organised as part of the campaign for early breast cancer diagnosis. The Polish Chamber of Commerce in Japan extended thanks to DOR-CEL who sponsored the entire shipment.
We are proud to inform, that Dor-Cel Ltd. was awarded with Gazela Biznesu 2012 - award for most dynamic small and medium companies. Competition is organized by Puls Biznesu and Coface Poland. Award was presented at gala, which took place on 5th of March.
In overall classification we were 845th out of 4342 companies and 163rd in Mazovia region.
